Payments

All tiers

Cards, Apple Pay, MobilePay and lunch benefits — on your terminal or ours, or none at all. Funds settle to your IBAN.

Pisteo runs on Stripe Connect Express — you're the merchant of record and funds settle straight to your IBAN, with Pisteo's fee deducted before settlement so you never see us touch the money. And Pisteo doesn't lock you into hardware: keep the card machine you already have, add a Stripe Terminal for in-person cards, or go terminal-free and let guests pay on their phones. Every rail reconciles into one set of books.

What's included

Your terminal or ours

Keep your existing card machine — cards and lunch cards keep working exactly as they do today — add a Stripe Terminal from us, or run terminal-free with QR checkout. Pisteo records and reconciles every rail, so your books stay in one place whatever hardware you use.

Lunch benefits, built in

Finland's lunch-benefit users are most of the weekday lunch crowd. Keep accepting Edenred and ePassi the way you already do — your diners pay their lunch benefit on your terminal, and Pisteo records and reconciles it alongside cards and cash. Direct in-app benefit payment, so guests pay their lunch benefit right in the Pisteo checkout, is rolling out next.

Hybrid payment mode

Per-restaurant toggle: Required, Preferred (default), or Off. Run Pisteo for ordering only and graduate to in-app payment when you're ready.

Split bill at checkout

Diner can split equally (1–6 shares) or pick individual items to pay for. Solves the most painful five minutes of any group meal.

Tipping

Three presets + custom. Available only when in-app payment is on. Roll-up reported separately to the bill.

Refunds + partial refunds

One-click refund from the admin orders board. Stripe handles the fund return automatically.

Reporting + VAT split

Monthly CSV combines in-app and cashier flows, line-item with correct Finnish VAT (13.5% food / 25.5% alcohol).
